Retail customer having any operative account with mode of operation as ‘Self’, ‘Either or Survivor’, ‘Any One’ or Jointly is to be given E-Banking facility.

Eligibility Criteria:
Corporate customer having constitution Partnership, Private Ltd., Public Ltd., Society, HUF, Trust, Limited Liability Partnership etc. is to be given e-Banking facility by getting relevant documents as mentioned below.

Corporate users :
Need to submit a form duly signed and stamped for activating e-banking.
Board resolution mentioning authority for the documentation signed up and confirming the following up of terms and conditions.

Customer should keep the User-id and password totally confidential and not reveal them to any third party.
Customer should not record them in a written or electronic form.
Customer should always check the URL address on the address bar of Internet Browser.
This should begin with “https”; the letter ‘s’ at the end of “https” means ‘secured’.
Customer should look for the padlock symbol either in the address bar or the status bar
(mostly in the address bar) but not within the web page display area and verify the security certificate by clicking on the padlock.
Customer should –
Fill in the correct account number of the person to whom the funds are to be transferred;
Fill in the correct Card number while making Card payments.
Fill in the correct details such as the name of the payee (who may or may not have an account with the Bank), mailing address, amount of the Demand Draft and the City/State where the Demand Draft is payable.
Customer should install a comprehensive firewall/antivirus/anti-spyware software package on his computer & update the same on a regular basis. These software suites help detect and remove viruses and spyware, that can steal vital information.
If user has to share his mobile & personal computer with anyone else or send it for repair/maintenance, he should:-
Clear the browsing history
Clear cache and temporary files stored in the memory as they may contain account numbers and other sensitive information.
Customer should use the Virtual KeyBoard (VKB) wherever available to prevent key-logger compromises as such malware can track keystrokes in a physical keyboard.
Customer should always clear his browser cache after each session.
Customer should disable the “Auto Complete” function on his browser: If customer is using Internet Explorer, he should turn off the ‘Auto Complete’ function on his browser to prevent the system from remembering Passwords. To Disable the “Auto Complete” function :
Open Internet Explorer. Select Tools –> Internet Options –> Content (Tab)
Click on Settings Button under Auto Complete section
De-Select User Names and Passwords on forms check box
Click on “OK”
