Job Description

  • Processing of all type of fresh /review/increase Ad-hoc credit proposals as per TAT norms complying banks, RBI guidelines.
  • Providing support / guidance to the branches in respect of preparing of credit proposals and appraisal notes and follow up of timely submission of renewal proposals.
  • Validation of credit rating done under CRISIL etc. module.
  • Maintaining constant liaison with major customer and assisting development through prospective borrowers.
  • Carrying out of pre-post sanction unit visit / inspections etc.
  • Helping branches in acquiring of new business.
  • High level of knowledge for balance sheet analysis & working capital assessment including undertaking of economic viability & technical feasibility study and preparing notes for new proposal.
  • Sanctioning of loan proposals as per delegated authority.
  • Handling credit policy, subsidy, CIBIL, CERSAI related matters.
  • Holding meetings with Industrial Associations, Chambers of Commerce and scouting new remunerative advances.
  • High level of knowledge for balance sheet analysis & working capital assessment including undertaking of economic viability & technical feasibility study and preparing notes for new proposal.

Qualifications : Graduate with MBA (Finance)/CAIIB/CA preferred

Age : Below 50 years Preferred

Work experience : 10+ years in any Banking / Financial institution, Minimum 5 year working in Credit Department at senior level.

Overall Job Responsibilities

  • Should have experience of working as Branch Manager of any Commercial Bank or large UCB.
  • Should have good knowledge of all banking operations and Loan Processing/Credit appraisal and Branch Management.
  • Client relations skills including communications, negotiating, problem solving.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Maintaining relation with existing customers as well as acquiring new business and bringing new clients.
  • Planning and implementing various strategies to penetrate business and should able to achieve various business targets with clear focus of Sales & Marketing.
  • Management of entire staff and Housekeeping activities at bigger branches.
  • Monitoring & Management of stress accounts.
  • Should possess leadership qualities including team building abilities.
  • Should be risk compliant with urge to ensure compliance of circular guidelines, regulatory guidelines.
  • Will be responsible for meeting targets for revenue generation through qualitative business book building and costs controlling.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification: B.Com with first Class/ M.Com/ MBA/ CAIIB, Preferred.

Experience: 10+ years in any Banking / Financial institution,currently working with a medium size branch in any UCBs or Commercial Banks as Branch Manager with minimum 3 year experience as Branch Head.

Age: Preferably below 50 years
